For many years, Garaba Clinic in Ward 6 of Hwedza District operated without a reliable water source, placing a heavy and unsafe burden on patients—particularly expectant mothers who were required to bring their own water during visits.
In response to this critical need, the Adam Molai Foundation recently drilled a solar-powered borehole at the clinic, providing clean and sustainable water directly on-site. This intervention has significantly improved sanitation standards, strengthened maternal and primary healthcare services, and restored dignity and safety for patients and healthcare workers alike.
As part of our continued commitment to community wellbeing, the Foundation plans to extend this initiative to Payarira Primary School by supplementing its water supply. This will support the school’s garden project and contribute to a healthier, more conducive learning environment for children in the community.
