A recap of our recent engagements and initiatives.
The Adam Molai Foundation is honored to participate in the UN Women High-Level Stakeholder Engagement commemorating the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, held under the global theme “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against Women and Girls.”
As we continue to expand our ICT programs in schools, this engagement provides an important platform to reaffirm our commitment to addressing online and technology-facilitated violence. We recognize digital violence as a growing threat to the rights, safety, and meaningful participation of women and adolescent girls in digital spaces, and we remain dedicated to promoting safer, inclusive, and empowering digital environments for all.
In partnership with the Ministry of Women Affairs, we hosted another impactful Vendor Plus training session in Makoni District with 18 dedicated vendors in attendance (15 women, 3 men). The session began with a recap of our September training to assess progress and reinforce key learnings.
The training touched on various topics, which include Vendor Association formation, inventory management & risk management in the vending business. The enthusiasm and active participation of our vendors continue to drive our mission forward as we cultivate a network of empowered, resilient, and growth-oriented vending entrepreneurs.
As part of our ICT education initiative for underserved communities, we teamed up with @Zimascots Entertainment to bring tech-inspired mascots to Dombotombo Primary School!
These vibrant characters symbolizing modern technology, robotics, and innovation offered learners a rare chance to interact with the future in a fun, creative, and hands-on way.
We believe moments like these ignite curiosity, spark dreams, and help children see technology not just as a subject but as a gateway to growth, opportunity, and a world beyond their current environment.
The Adam Molai Foundation recently partnered with the Ministry of Health & Child Care, Nyaradzo Group, Friends of the Environment, and Island Hospice to host a successful Health and Wellness Event at Greene Park in Marondera.
The event provided free health services to the community, including medical screenings, professional health consultations, expert advice, and medication. A dedicated team from the Ministry of Health & Child Care delivered these essential services, ensuring accessible and quality healthcare support for all attendees.
We were encouraged by the strong community turnout and the shared commitment to prioritizing health and wellbeing. We extend our sincere appreciation to our partners and everyone who participated in making this impactful initiative possible.
